Proposed Rules Adoption postponed until January 1, 2009!
Over the past 3 years the OBMT Rules Committee has conducted a comprehensive review of both Oregon Revised Statutes and Administrative Rules governing massage. This review was done to increase readability, update terminology and streamline processes.

The OBMT appreciates the valuable feedback we have received on the proposed changes to OAR 334. All of the testimony and comments received have been reviewed by the Board and in late September the rules committee met, reviewed all of the comments and testimony and, based on that information, made some recommendations for changes to the proposed rules. The Board reviewed and adopted these recommendations at the October Board Meeting resulting in Version 4 of the proposed changes to OAR 334. Version 4 can be found below. All change made from Version 3 have been highlighted in yellow for ease of identification.
